We know that this march will be anything but easy, however, we are determined and motivated to raise awareness and donations for the mental well-being of our country’s veterans
Our Nation’s Warriors continue to come face to face with the enemy even after they return home from the battlefield. Every day, twenty veterans and active-duty military die from suicide in the United States. Veteran suicide rates are about 50 percent higher than rates among the general population.
The Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation (B.O.L.F.) (501 (c)(3) organization) is working hard to inform the public, especially spouses and families, about the signs, effects and how to get help for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and prevent Veteran suicide.
[RUCK•ING [VERB] – Carrying a weighted pack on your back. It implies action, energy, and purpose.]
Brady’s Legacy Ruck is an inspiring one-day event that brings together participants from all walks of life to support The Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation and to raise awareness of combat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
More than just a physical challenge, the ruck march offers multiple levels to include participants seeking various experiences, from casual enthusiasts to seasoned athletes. This diversity ensures that everyone, regardless of their fitness level, can join the cause and make a difference. Participants can choose their ruck level, allowing for a meaningful experience and an opportunity to contribute to a noble cause.
